About

Hey, I’m Patrick and welcome to the basement.

If you’ve ever wandered down here through TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, you already know the drill: this is a Star Wars collection room turned full-blown obsession, tucked into my actual basement, and it’s where I build armor, unbox way too many collectibles, and talk way too much about a galaxy far, far away.

I’ve been a Star Wars fan my whole life. The kind where “casual interest” turned into a walk-in closet of Stormtrooper armor and a Mandalorian costume that took way longer to finish than I’d like to admit. What started as a hobby turned into content, and content turned into this blog, where I go deeper than a 60-second video ever could.

What you’ll find here:

  • Prop and armor build guides – full parts lists, cost breakdowns, and the mistakes I made so you don’t have to, whether you’re starting your first Stormtrooper armor build or piecing together Mandalorian cosplay from scratch
  • Toys and collectibles reviews – lightsabers, action figures, replica props, display cases — the honest “is this actually worth it” take before you spend your money
  • Basement collection updates – new shelf additions, display setups, and the occasional “why do I own this” confession
  • Charity – Opportunities to help American Cancer Society in memory of my dad.

I’m not a costuming expert or a professional prop maker, just a longtime fan who learned most of this the hard way and figured I’d write it down for the next person figuring out their own Star Wars collection or first cosplay build. No gatekeeping, no “well actually” energy, just genuine enthusiasm and a basement full of proof.

Stick around, dig through the build guides, and if you’re working on your own armor or prop project, drop a comment. I read all of them.

May the Force be with you (and may your glue gun never run out mid-build).

Patrick
